Umarex Notos Moderator CanCan
Umarex Notos Moderator CanCan
The CanCan was specially designed for the Umarex Notos. This Moderator slides over the existing moderator to help bring down the bark from the Notos. Looks cool and sounds cool.

I bought the CanCan and the MLok Handguard. Both were shipped timely and fit my Notos perfectly. Excellent products and RECOMMENDED!
It's a decent quality print but not great, with some layer shifting throughout. The main issue; however, is that not only does it not work to suppress the sound, it actually makes it louder. Looks cool though, I guess.
I own two Notos', one with the plenum upgrade and thus an aftermarket moderator, and the other stock. The stock plastic moderator with its 4-baffle insert is quieter than the aftermarket 5-baffle aluminum moderator due to total volume and also orifice tolerances, although both are backyard quiet. However, I wanted to improve the foregrip area of each gun as grabbing the naked air tube is really an unacceptable situation. Bravo3D's upgrades for that are EXCELLENT and I figured on trying the CanCan while I was at it and WOW am I glad I did! Adding this to the stock moderator effectively adds another baffle and increases the volume significantly while adding an insignificant amount of length and weight, resulting in a fun that remains compact and light while also INDOOR quiet, the difference in sound signature is very noticeable though I don't have a decibel meter to give exact numbers.
I did add felt and wool to the inside of the CanCan as suggested in one of his videos to further dampen the sound.
A couple points: the CanCan uses set-screws and close tolerances to hold in place, but the screws are different sizes so you need to different hex drivers to mount it - I'm not sure why the maker chose to do that but I recommend switching that in the future if possible just for customer simplicity. The other point to note is that, while his hand-grips are impressively free of fuzzy strands from the print (and indeed are near free of striations), the CanCan has some striations, and internally there are some fuzzies which I'm sure are much more difficult to eliminate in the print. Neither of these factors impact the performance of the upgrade.
A last note, the picatinny rail on the CanCan has proper spacing but is NOT cut with a complete dovetail, not designed to accept mounting of anything. I was actually somewhat disappointed by this as I have a mount that could be used to bridge between the gun and the moderator and so hold the CanCan against turning apart from the security of the set-screws. I suggest Bravo3D redesign the can to have in-spex picatinny and then also include such an adapter for folk to secure it, but keeping it the way it is would not stop me from recommending this to other people nor stop me from enjoying the one I have or acquiring another should I acquire another Notos!
Great stuff, I look forward to using more of his items!
