The factory moderator on the Alpha 1 is glued in place and difficult to remove. Instead of attempting risky removal, our slip-on design installs quickly and securely over the existing barrel assembly.

This slips on firmly and based on my phone measurements it cut noise by about 5 db and that is a real improvement
I thought it would make the Venturi Alpha much quieter given it’s diameter
When you used to live in a spacious farming communities and you shoot varmints from feathered pests to rock chucks with 22lr or 223 Rem powered rifles and nowadays some farmers sell off their farms to developers and build unwanted couldesac housing and commercial buildings near you. You switch to air rifles and you still get varmints without the risk of ricochet. And this makes your air venturi rifle more quieter and effective. It will change your shooting patterns just a tad off but does not affect accuracy so the scope needs adjustment and it'd be just fine.
Pretty disappointed in the effectiveness. Didn't really notice a reduce in sound volume.
